- PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
- The Sr. System Administrator 1 is responsible for providing technical support for a full range of business technology, including computer systems (hardware and software), network infrastructure, telecommunications circuits, mobile devices, telephone systems, and audio-visual equipment. S/he must be able to independently assess a reported problem or failure using diagnostic methods and tools, determine the likely cause and take appropriate action to resolve the problem in a timely manner. Often collaborating with other resources (both internal and external), the IT System Administrator 1 must understand system interdependencies and avoid unintentional interruption of services during troubleshooting and problem resolution.- Experience:
- Minimal 4 years in IT Technical Support- English: 90%- Diagnosing and solving computer issues.
- Installing and training end users in new technologies.
- Providing remote technical support over the phone or internet.
- Backing up and restoring data files.
- Repairing hardware and configuring software to maintain operating systems.
- Use of Ticket systems and Basic Knowledge in ITIL procedures.
- Analize and provide IT solutions to frequently problems.
- Coordinate software deployments in a large scale company.
- Coordinate Windows updates / Upgrades in a large scale company
- Manage Documentation and Services operation procedures
- Report Metrics and results to the manager staff.
