**Position Summary**

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure provision of services by communicating with clients, creating job requests accurately and efficiently, coordinating interpreter schedules and adhering to interpreter contracts.
- Provide excellent customer service both for external and internal stakeholders.
- Schedule interpreters to ensure appropriate coverage for onsite, telephonic, Video Remote
- Interpreting (VRI) assignments and Remote Simultaneous events.
- Monitor on-demand pool of active interpreters, as well as demand and maintain the
- Interpretation Programs Manager informed to ensure continuity of services for client languages and hours of operation.
- Maximize all PGLS technology to communicate with contractors and provide them with support as needed.
- Provide accurate reports on on-site and virtual services as requested.
- Maintain accurate records of current, qualified, trained, and cleared interpreters.
- Maintain PGLS Platform updated to reflect latest changes on both the interpreter and client side.
- Monitor operations using PGLS Interpretation Platform and analyze demand, interpreters pool, and new requests on an ongoing basis.
- Report regularly to the Interpretation Programs Manager about these trends to ensure coverage and interpreter pool adjustments.
- Write documentation of technical issues and escalate as appropriate.
- Develop familiarity with PGLS’s scheduling platforms and interpreter requirements.
- Support other members and functions of the Operations department.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned, including but not limited to system audits, QC processes and billing support.

**Basic Job Skills & Qualifications**
- Scheduling experience in customer service-oriented environment preferred.
- Knowledge of another language preferred.
- Knowledge of interpreter needs, demands, and roles preferred.
- Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Technical aptitude for supporting onsite and remote events through PGLS Interpretation Platforms
- Demonstrated fluency in spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of specialized software related to interpretation a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic database knowledge
- Basic financial skills for tracking profitability and efficiency.
- Ability to communicate effectively, present information in a succinct and clear manner and respond to questions from potential and current clients, as well as other PGLS team members.
- Basic mathematical skills to calculate percentages, mileage, and margins to create reports.
- Time management skills and attention to detail to establish priorities and ensure clients and contractors are efficiently and effectively served.
- Confidence and personal skills to build peer to peer relationships with staff, customers, and community groups and individuals.

Pay: $15,000.00 - $22,400.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Monterrey, N. L.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
