**Responsibilities**:
**The Opportunity**

This role is responsible to perform monthly closing activities to ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements and sector reports. The role also covers the preparation of particular reporting in accordance with PespsiCo reporting rules and sustains an effective control environmen. The role entails interaction with the business units’ control teams and outsourced delivery teams.

**Your Impact**

As a Buffer Analyst** **your responsibilities would consist of:

- Support with the timely and accurate preparation of US GAAP financial statements, Income Statement, Balance Sheet and/or OCF as applicable.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual Corporate reports to Sector Control Team of designated business units
- Participation with the short and long term Cash Flow Planning in HFM and preparation of monthly variance analysis and reportings to the sector team
- Perform journal entries, reconciliation, accruals, reserves to ensure the accuracy of financial statements during month end closing
- Fixed Asset Accounting and reporting
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, identify and investigate all variances and ensure that they are resolved timely and keep track of account clearing/maintenance
- Perform reconciliation of intercompany accounts, analyse intercompany out of balances and align with counterparties
- Work with the functions to prepare quarterly Balance Sheet Review content
- Ensure timely communication of any issues to Team Lead
- Maintain financial controls by adhering to policies and procedures; ensure compliance with internal controls and PGCS requirements
- Support and provide input/deliverables for corporate audits as well as external US-GAAP and statutory audits
- Prepare tax related reportings e.g. tax packages, CbCr Reporting, Calculation of deferred taxes
- Act as back up for retained organization based on prior allignment

Qualifications:
**Who Are We Looking For?**

**Experience**
- Financial technical skills achieved through experience or accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent degree
- Work experience 2+ years
- Fluent in English
- US GAAP knowledge desirable
- SAP and HFM/FDM desirable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (in particular Excel and PPT)
- Ability to integrate well within a virtual team environment
- Action and result oriented, attentive to deadlines
- Must be detail-oriented, a quick learner, and self-motivated
- Exhibit a strong ‘can-do’, ‘will-do’ attitude and strong sense of urgency in meeting deadlines
