Associate Security Guard

**Job Overview**:
Provide 24/7 Security coverage for McDermott´s personnel and assets.
Liaison between visitors, contractors and vendors with McDermott employees.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Inspecting personnel at the gate and ensure employees have their company badges before entering the Yard.
- Prevent unauthorized access to the Yard.
- Avoid illegal or unauthorized goods enter to the Yard or ships berthed at our dock.
- Assure everyone inside the Yard use a badge.
- Perform visual inspections to personal belongings, vehicles and documents of all personnel.
- Liaison between McDermott staff and visitors, contractors or vendors notifying the arrival and ensure the delivery of valid ID’S.
- Escort contractors working in restricted areas and give some directions regarding to security and safety.
- Support in activities related to Yard evacuation or emergencies.
- Perform security tours inside the Yard.
- Protect company personnel, assets and environment.
- Ensure visitors, vendors, authorities, and contractors register their tools or electronic devices, as computers, laptops, tables or cameras according to procedure.
- Ensure that all materials, tools, equipment, or devices that leave the yard have been authorized by appropriate staff.
- Prepare and deliver reports of missing parts, equipment, or tools to his superiors.
- Participate on the statement from personnel involved regarding to missing parts, equipment, or tools.
- Make sure visitors, vendors, authorities, and contractors register their complete data in logbook, assign badges and ensure the users return the badges before leaving the Yard.
- Write down data of personnel, vehicle, and outstanding facts in logbook.
- Other duties as assigned

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- At least 1 year of experience in Security matters.
- Middle School
- ISPS Code Course as Port Facility personnel having specific security duties.
