- Independent and self dependent handling of relevant purchasing processes (within defined group) in agreement with Director Purchasing
- Price and contract negotiations
- Support of development, coordination and implementation of purchasing strategy (partly global) within defined group
- Set up a supplier base in agreement with Director Purchasing
- Sourcing in agreement with relevant departments
- Optimisation of supply chain in cooperation with supplier and departments/plants (Supply Chain Management)
- Visit supplier/plants if necessary
- Consistent review and development of quality and competitiveness of supplier and develop corrective actions if needed
- Self dependent market analysis, identification of new supplier
- Review supplier master data (conditions etc.)
- Internal and external contact for supplier and departments
