Operations Specialist Supervisor

We are looking for an individual with an attention to detail who is self-motivated and has strong leadership skills for the Operations Specialist Team Lead position who wants to act as an intermediary between the Operations Specialist team and Production Coordinators and Managers in the United States. You will take your expertise in Quality Control, the English language, interpersonal communication skills, and use it to lead the Operations Specialist team. You will focus on ensuring quality control standards are being met, managing the needs of the Operations Specialist team and ensuring that the workflow runs smoothly by being in constant communication with different departments, both within Mexico and in the United States.
**Here is more of what you’ll get to do**:
- Conduct yearly performance reviews
- Create and maintain/update training manuals (these include tips and reference documentation)
- Formal detection, analysis, and follow-up of vulnerable team members (discussions, minutes, and active performance management)
- Communicate any incidents with Upper Management and Administration, handle administrative write-ups/active performance management
- Creation of monthly/yearly reporting
- Review/authorize vacation/financial leave requests (PTO)
- Attend Production Plan Review & Adjustment calls every Friday where the Production Coordinators will go over what has been accomplished during the past week and what is planned for the following week
- Evenly distribute work amongst the team
- Resolution of specific concerns/issues from the team (operational)
- Constant communication and follow-ups with new employees, drafting of pre-evaluations, keeping recruitment, management and HR informed
- Ongoing interaction and communication with team members (1:1s, daily/weekly sync-ups)
- Authorization of overtime (review with Operations Manager)
- Production/special recognition bonuses (review with the production manager in La Paz and Duluth)
- Monthly and weekly meetings with Operations and Administration (overall performance, team needs, etc.)
- Monitor metrics and KPIs, notify Operations Manager and Production Coordinator if any adjustments are needed
