**JOB SUMMARY**

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, hotel management, business analysis, or related professional areas.
- Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm (or similar) is preferred.
- High proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) in English and Spanish is required. Portuguese is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles (GAAP).

**EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS**
- Monitor hotel progress on balance sheet reconciliation in QuickBase (reconciliation tool).
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GAAP.
- Participate in calls with external auditors to review and discuss hotel balance sheets.
- Follow up on audit findings to ensure they have been remediated.
- Perform hotel auto allocation setup in collaboration with Hotel Directors of Finance and conduct monthly reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Provide training and ongoing support to properties.
- Update monthly reports and dashboards.

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Understanding of hotel operations and finance processes, including P&Ls, reconciliations, balance sheets, and controls.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with the ability to identify needs and take independent action.
- Customer-service oriented with effective listening skills.
- Capability to work as part of a multicultural remote team and collaborate with regional and property stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products and the ability to manipulate large amounts of data; experience with business analytics (BI) is preferred.
- Approximately 10% business travel required.
