Este puesto se encarga principalmente de:

- Realizar pruebas dimensionales de acuerdo con la solicitud de prueba emitida.
- Definir el método de prueba correcto
- Redactar informes de pruebas
- Analizar los resultados de las pruebas/investiga las causas del mal funcionamiento y lo comunica al solicitante de la prueba.
- Participar en la definición de parámetros para pruebas dimensionales.
- Garantizar las mediciones y los resultados de las pruebas en relación con las especificaciones del cliente.
- Analizar el GD&T de los productos y proporciona conocimientos técnicos.
- Participar, si es necesario, en la realización de planes experimentales.
- Impartir formación sobre medios de control para el personal del laboratorio u otros departamentos si es necesario.
- Participar en la elaboración de instrucciones de laboratorio.
- Cumplir la normativa IATF.
- Contribuir al almacenamiento y organización del servicio de laboratorio.
- Garantizar la confidencialidad de la información en el laboratorio.
- Participar en la mejora continua del servicio y contribuye al cumplimiento de sus objetivos.
