**Description of The Position**
Responsible for product supply (either local manufacturing or import), transportation, distribution, storage and, in general, for the proper flow of goods through the supply chain until the delivery to the final customer.
- Responsible for fully complying with the import and export processes of products, including the customs process in each operation, ensuring that each of them strictly complies with customs regulations and current legislation.
- Responsible for achieving an efficient balance between the demand and supply of products, meeting the needs of the marketing and commercial areas to achieve sales objectives, and anticipating supply risks and coordinating multisectoral teams to mitigate them.
- Responsible for allocating and managing available resources in accordance with the changing needs of the business.
- Promotes by example the company's leadership standards.
**Responsibilities**
- Prepares the budget for the SCM area, monitors budgetary allocations and expenditures, and ensures compliance with the authorized budget for the country.
- Control quantity, cost and efficiency of movement and storage of goods.
- Leads local S&OP process.
- Coordination with Site Planners and Fulfillment Planners of adjustments to the weekly replenishment plan (revision of planning parameters - tiers) including bid and off-shore product.
- Responsible for agreeing with OCO Service Level Agreement and Product Segmentation.
- Commercial main contact point for all supply issues, whether of the country's own supply or offshore sales.
- Responsible for coordination with Customs Agents and Freight Forwarders to ensure the correct level of service.
- Responsible for timely delivery of Tender products, including packaging, re-labeling and / or placement of specific commercial legends required by customers.
- Participation in the discussion of regulatory issues, analysis of impact on supply and responsible for coordinating actions related to supply (Source of supply changes, artworks, etc.)
- Responsible for maintaining adequate / healthy levels of inventory, as well as the analysis of IQV.
- Responsible for ensuring the fulfillment of the different KPIs and preparing and presenting to the upper management of SC the Business Review monthly.
- Responsible for ensuring supply activities that directly impact the timely launch of products.
- Coordinate the priority of product approval for Quality-release.
- Responsible for logistics and supply of products of BD (Business Development).
- Takes rapid decisions, based on policies and procedures, in order to positively impact the unit's ability to meet business objectives.
- Supports the implementation of business plans and subsidiary priorities, aligning business objectives with priorities and the Balance Score Card of the division.
- Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives to increase the performance of the position, the team and the company.
- Carries out all the activities in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and appropriate Safety, Health and Environmental standards, in order to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
- Promotes and makes the people in charge to meet the requirements of customer satisfaction and service, and according to changing priorities.
**Required Education, Experience and Skills**
- At least 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related industries, in Logistics positions.
- At least have 3 years of experience in management positions in Logistics areas.
- Excellent knowledge of the tasks of Pharmaceutical Planning and Logistics in general.
- Excellent knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Safety, Health and Environmental and Regulatory.
- Planning and organization skills.
- High level of analytical and problem solving skills.
- Very good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, in Spanish and English.
- Skills to train and transfer knowledge to others.
- Ability to develop and prepare documents.
- Very good skills in the use of computer systems including general operation pack of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, others). As well as ERP systems.
