Overall purpose of role

As Mexico Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), will performresponsibilities in accordance with local regulatory frameworks and requirements. Oversee Mexico’s cyber regulatory landscape ensuring compliance with regulations, while managing interaction with regulatory bodies and coordinating due diligence to meet regulatory obligations.

Key Accountabilities

Accountabilities include, but shall not be limited to:

- Providing SME and leadership for all information and cyber security regulatory requirements to ensure regulations are understood and fully implemented.
- Articulating cybersecurity program objectives to help inform business priorities and monitor the cyber risk posture.
- Conduit for Chief Security Office (CSO) stakeholders to support cybersecurity program initiatives across all relevant cyber projects to address local impact.
- Developing and maintaining strong partnership with stakeholders to embed regulatory requirements through group wide policies/standards and controls.
- Engaging with regulatory bodies, acting as primary point of contact for cybersecurity related matters, while managing regulatory due diligence, RFI and monitoring.
- Supporting and partner with stakeholders including Chief Control Organization, Technology to support in-scope regulatory requirements, as appropriate.
- Understanding regulatory landscape and trends in the broader financial services sector, support regulatory horizon scanning and consultation, as appropriate.
- Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of emerging risks and new technologies and trends, in-line with overall risk tolerance.
