**Responsibilities**:
- Performs safety inspections. Issues and audits permits for hazardous work, such as: height, confined spaces and fire hazards.
- Participates in governance and corporate inspections and audits.
- Responsible for keeping the Globally Harmonized System on the management of chemicals used in the plant up to date.
- Control and management of documentation related to:
- Hazardous waste generated, up to its final disposal.
- Non-hazardous waste
- Biological-infectious waste
- Special handling waste
- Responsible for providing health and safety induction to new personnel/ contractors/ suppliers and related courses.
- Member and/or coordinator of the Health and Safety Commission and emergency brigades.
- Analysis, control and delivery of PPE according to the risks present in each operation.
- Compliance with applicable safety standards and procedures.
- Report and track unsafe working conditions in the Velocity system.
- Responsible for signage and visual aids in the plant according to standard 026.
- Support in the coordination and execution of evacuation and spill drills.
- Support in the attention to Environmental and Safety audits, and follow-up of corrective actions resulting from such audits.
- Comply with continuous improvement by implementing cost reduction projects.
- Maintain compliance with the 5S + 1 indicators.
- Excellent communication with all departments.
- Responsible for correcting/reporting unsafe behaviors or conditions to maintain an accident-free work environment.
- Maintain updated environmental and health and safety procedures.
- Maintain updated documentation and keep supplier and/or contractor files in order.
**Authority**:
- Access control of external service personnel (guards and cleaning).
- Delivery and control of Personal Protective Equipment
- **Access control for security guards**:
- **Reports of non-compliance with EHS-related internal work regulations
**Basic requirements:
- Degree, preferably completed (Industrial Engineering, Ecology or similar)
- A minimum of 06 months in the EHS area.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
- English 50% English 50% English
- Computer skills (Word, Excell, power point).
- Analytical
- Organized
- Leadership
- Ability to manage personnel Knowledge in the interpretation of plans
**Desirable requirements**:
- DC-5 at STPS
- Forklift Driving License
