We’re looking for a **Procurement Intern** to join our **Mechanical & Outsourcing Commodity team** in **Monterrey Apodaca Plant**. As a **Procurement Intern** you’ll be responsible for **Supporting the procurement team, drive improvements while learning about different roles in the procurement organization**
**More about the role**
- ** ERFQs/ Benchmarking Current supplier data base**
- **Negotiation with suppliers on Lead time & MOQs**
- ** Follow up with saving projects**
- ** Participate in different programs such as should cost to guarantee most efficient cost models in the industry**
- ** Support New Product introduction launches and business case creation while comparing different supply chain models**
**More about you**:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master’s in supply chain management/Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline (**6th-7th semester)** Able to complete required hours of internship.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with innovation & creativity
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- SAP knowledge is a plus
