**Responsibilities**:
**The Opportunity**
The Warehousing and Transportation Center of Excellence Leader for the Sector will oversee the strategic, productivity, and sustainability initiatives for WHS, transportation and fleet operations across 15 countries in Latinamerica. This senior role demands a high level of expertise in Supply Chain performance, coupled with outstanding communication and influence skills. The position is pivotal in steering initiatives, transforming processes, driving performance improvements, and advancing sustainability in alignment with Corporate and Latam leadership objectives.
This executive position leads the comprehensive design of the Latam Warehousing, Transportation & Fleet Program working closely with the MCC execution teams, Global Supply Chain S&T, Latam S&T and Operating Unit (OU) stakeholders. The role is accountable to articulate the efforts for driving the successful cost transformation inttiatives, encompassing the development of business cases for future capabilities, KPIs, and investment strategies, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This includes establishing a robust governance framework to connect all dimensions on the new Pepsico environment to project-specific requirements and accountabilities.
**Your Impact**
As LatAm Warehousing & Transportation Director your scope would consist of
- Warehpusing & Transportation Leadership: Assume full ownership of warehouse, transport and fleet transformation by orchestrating and implementing strategic business programs and initiatives that align with the PepsiCo’s overall goals and objectives.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize advanced data analytics to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and pinpoint areas for improvement, ensuring that data-driven strategies significantly enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Productivity Enhancement: Spearhead initiatives aimed at boosting warehousing & transportation productivity, optimizing operations, and elevating overall performance across the Sector.
- PEP+ Sustainability Fleet Strategy: Champion the sustainability agenda by crafting a comprehensive Decarbonization Strategy for our Fleet to achieve 2030 goals. Explore and lead OUs on the implementation of practices and technologies to minimize the environmental impact of transportation and fleet activities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage effectively with key process owners on the new pepsico environment and OUs teams, employing strong communication and persuasion skills to foster collaboration and secure support for transportation initiatives.(Global S&T, Latam S&T, MCC, Sustainability & Procurement).
- Warehouse & Transport Cost transformation: Identify and oversee key cost leavers performance to evaluate the success of initiatives, challenging performance to exceed targets.
- Project visibility: Lead the periodic construction of project status reports and ensure accurate communication across various forums. Provide project management support through detailed metrics and scorecards with regular updates.
- Industry Awareness: Remain updated about external trends and integrate relevant insights into strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Innovation Leadership: Cultivate an environment that encourages innovation, championing breakthrough ideas and initiatives that drive progress.
- Future Planning: Strategically plan and articulate the Warehpusing, Transportation & Fleet vision, including resource requirements, to ensure the delivery of future results and the design of new capabilities the will enable the Full Potential vision.
- Talent Development and Coaching: Develop and mentor supply chain talent sustainably by selecting top talent, providing critical experiences, challenging assignments, and ensuring engagement with stakeholders at both sector and global levels.
