- Restore degraded natural ecosystems and contribute to climate action,
- Create value across sustainable agricultural and forestry supply chains.

Concretely, it means to identify, design, closely support and monitor community-based projects that are deployed by our local project implementers, most of the time local NGOs that we support in building capacity. Our business model is based on engaging and coordinating large coalitions of actors (NGOs, investors, suppliers, public offtakers, private donors, banks, scientific advisors, etc...) needed to unlock change.

To join our team of talented, committed and agile professionals and support designing and implementing our projects, we are looking for a **Senior Project Manager in **Latam**, based near a well-connected airport Hub (ideally in Colombia or Mexico) and with frequent travels to project countries in the sub-region.

**MISSION**

Under the supervision of the Head of LatAm Hub, the **Senior Project Mana**ger** sources, co-creates and co-manages impactful agricultural and/or forestry projects with our civil-society field partners. He/she is responsible to:

- Lead the co-design and implementation of agroecology / forestry projects that combine social and environmental change for the benefit of smallholder farmers.
- Ensure a good coordination among project participants and activities, by actively participating in projects governance, anticipating opportunities and risks, monitoring and achieving results over the whole project lifetime.
- Understand and manage points of view and jargons from different actors (business, technical, academic, investors, public., etc..) to propose smart, practical action plans that create an alignment of all stakeholders.
- Bring expertise on hands-on agroecology / forestry practices (soil health and fertility management, regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, forest management ) to our colleagues and partners and help adapt these to the local context of the projects.
- Scout for new project opportunities, in line with **our values**, and be able to deliver real, measurable transformation in the agricultural or natural landscapes that poor communities rely upon for their livelihoods.
- Work closely with the Impact team to monitor and evaluate project’s impact.

You are a passionate, experienced and result-driven professional with a strong background in project management and **first-hand field experience** in agroecology and sustainable agricultural and/or forestry practices.

You possess:

- 10 to 15 years proven track-record of relevant experience in promoting agroecology and/or sustainable forestry in developing economies, close to smallholder farmers, rural communities, demonstrating tangible achievements.
- Graduated in agronomy and/or forestry related fields or have the equivalent hands-on field experience.
- Experience in carbon projects is not required but is a plus.
- ** English spoken and written** with ease, as the internal working language.
- Portuguese is a plus.

**OTHER SPECIFICS**:

- Home-office **with regular **in-person interactions at the company’s HQs.
- This position requires **frequent travel for field visits **(c. 30% of the time).
