About the role*

What you will do*
- The Account Executive should be extremely diligent in identifying opportunities, building, and managing their pipeline with clear goals and realistic timelines to meet or exceed their quota.
- Work with main stakeholders: Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Customer Service, Marketing & PR to develop internal processes and market entry strategies.
- Define, manage and provide insights on key performance metrics as: TPV, Transactions, Merchants prospection, On-boarding process.
- Create and manage operational processes such as target setting, forecast and budgeting.
- Reach sales process optimization and sales program implementation.
- Experience of understanding and implementing activities that drive pipeline and outcomes.
- Constantly look for customer experience improvements and provide recommendations.
- Responsible for early life account management of new customers and the retention of a limited portfolio of high value accounts.
- Managing and supporting merchants through the full sales cycle: discovery, early engagement, negotiation, contracting, implementation (on-boarding process), go live, follow up and reports.
- Follow a predefined sales process to learn and understand the challenges that growth and scale business owners face and recommend solutions based on their needs.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to close the deal while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Generate the mechanisms to build solid relationships with customers. Know how to navigate within companies and relate well with managers and business leaders of corporations.
- Identify high-potential prospective users and develop outbound strategies
- Be responsible for developing the strategy for your vertical.

Some things we consider critical for this role*
- 4+ years of sales, business development or partnerships roles, experience in a high-tech growth environment or commercial experience in Payments, E-commerce, Fintech or Financial Services.
- Experience working with large data sets (CRMS and Excel).
- Works well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Skilled at communicating performance metrics and trends in both English and Spanish.
- Self-motivated, target driven, ability to work independently and adaptable.
- Possess excellent organizational skills.
- Proven track record of successfully driving your sales quotas as an individual contributor.
- Consultative sales skills; willingness to collaborate and bring the appropriate resources to close sales.
- Proven negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to grasp highly technical topics.

MUST HAVE:

- An understanding of the economics of the payments space and the ecommerce ecosystem would be a bonus.
- Fluent in English
