**Job Description: Power BI Developer**

**Position Overview**: As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and insightful dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, understanding business requirements, transforming raw data into actionable insights, and building enterprise adoption.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Dashboard Development**: Create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards and reports using Power BI, translating complex data into clear and intuitive visualizations.

**Data Modeling**: Design and develop data models, relationships, and calculations to ensure accurate representation of data and enable effective analysis.

**Data Transformation**: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data quality and consistency.

**Query Optimization**: Write efficient DAX queries and calculations to retrieve data from data sources, enhance performance, and optimize report loading times.

**Report Automation**: Develop automated solutions to generate regular reports and distribute them to stakeholders, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency.

**Collaboration**: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements, business needs, and user expectations.

**Data Governance**: Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies, protecting sensitive information and maintaining data integrity.

**Troubleshooting and Maintenance**: Identify and resolve issues with existing Power BI solutions, perform regular updates, and provide support to end-users.

**Training and Documentation**: Create user guides, documentation, and training materials to assist users in effectively utilizing Power BI tools and features.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- A bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science, technology, data science, finance, or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of dashboard and report creations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
- Knowledge and exposure to working with Azure based data service such as Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Analysis Services, Power Apps and Power Automate, and Bring Your Own Database (BYOD).
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Experience in working with various data sources, such as databases, APIs, and flat files.
- Flexible and proactive/self
- motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes is a plus.
- Certifications in Power BI or related technologies are advantageous.
- Experience creating Power BI Dashboards from the ground up.

**Salary**: $15,621.16 - $24,000.00 per month
