**Essential functions, responsibilities, and duties**:

- Ensure compliance to an effective and suitable Global Quality Management System (QMS).
- Responsible for External Audits of the quality systems at the designated region, for ISO9001 / ISO 14001, AS9120, Customers, Regulatory Authorities, etc.
- Management and execution of Internal audits.
- Manage Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and implements corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
- Ensures product quality acceptance processes are established, documented, and maintained in accordance with requirements.
- Monitors processes and key performance indicators to identify the need of corrective and preventative action.
- Manages the calibration maintenance of measurement/testing equipment.
- Interface with Sales staff and Customers to support quality requirements.
- Works with Purchasing staff to establish quality requirements for external suppliers.
- Perform vendor approval process, monitors the approved vendor list, perform on-site vendor audits, review/approve & monitors SCARs, etc.
- To provide / coordinate applicable trainings as needed.
- Management of Document Control
- Coordinates the Shelf-life program to make sure it is executed.
- Monitors MRB and proper disposition of material.
- Support the completion of quality surveys from Customers.
- Continual improvement activities.

**Skills and requirements**:

- Industrial or mechanical engineer, or any engineering degree in a related field.
- Previous experience in any quality standard such as: ISO 9001, AS 9120, AS9100, ISO 14001
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft office (advance Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)
- Willing to travel domestic and international when required (around 30%).

**Extra Credit but not required**:

- Previous experience in the distribution or manufacturing of electronic components
- Internal or external auditor certification in any quality standard.
- Six sigma black or green belt certification preferred.
