**Job Summary**:
**Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)**:

- Support engineering change requests by partnering with factory personnel
- Design product enhancements to aid in manufacturability or support customer needs
- Model parts and components in Solidworks and create drawings to be used by manufacturing personnel or suppliers
- Lead bill of material creation and maintenance through Oracle ERP systems
- Partner with certification, validation, and photometric labs to complete safety and regulatory testing
- Support custom modification requests through conception, design, and implementation
- Act as a technical expert of the product and support questions from cross functional partners
- Visit manufacturing and assembly sites as needed to help improve product designs
- Ability to carry a project from start to finish with mínimal guidance while keeping manufacturability and the end user at the forefront.
- Travel: up to 10% of time

**Skills and Minimum Experience Required**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME), or similar
- 1+ years of experience in electro-mechanical design
- Basic familiarity with sheet metal, injection molding, casting, extrusion, and welding manufacturing processes
- Proficiency in Solidworks or other 3D CAD software
- Detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English
