For one of our Client in the Insurance Segment, we are searching for a Cybersecurity Tech Writer.

Cybersecurity Technical Writer will break down complex cybersecurity concepts into easy-to-understand policies, standards, procedures, guides and manuals for internal use. Your tasks include synthesizing information and establishing or revising cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, guidelines and training/user documentation.

You will report to Client's Information Security Governance Lead and work with stakeholders and business partners to collect feedback for our cybersecurity documentation. You will also update and manage the documents and policy lifecycle process in Archer, Client's governance, risk and compliance platform.

To qualify, you must have a background in IT, Cybersecurity, Communications, Computer Science, or related fields. You must also have experience working as a Technical Writer with an emphasis on policy writing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain information security and IT related policies, standard, procedures, guidelines and user/training documentation.
- Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing requirements or processes.
- Write, format, edit, review, and proof procedural and technical information for technical and nontechnical users.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking documentation work to meet document deadlines and client deliverables.
- Maintain processes and documentation within Archer and Azure DevOps.
- Publish and maintain templates for written documentation produced by others, ensuring a consistent "look and feel."

**Skills**:
Must have
- Knowledge of various cybersecurity concepts and frameworks, such as NIST CSF, CIS Controls, and security risk and control management, is essential.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a technical field such as computer science or a focus on English, writing, or communications.
- 3-5 years of experience required in an IT or information security environment writing policies, procedures, etc., to support IT and information security requirements.
- Experience in creating documentation for audiences with different levels of technical skill and understanding.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment under minimum supervision

Nice to have
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Archer (or other GRC platform), Adobe Professional, and Azure DevOps are desirable.
