Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quality Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Quality Engineer, this role involves responsibilities to implement and maintain quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization. Will also be in charge of NPI processes validations.

What a typical day looks like:

- Responsible for developing, applying, revising and maintaining quality standards for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
- Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality control activities.
- Supports Product Engineers and Quality Program Managers with customer interfaces as necessary on quality related issues.
- Assists with development and implementation of quality audits.
- Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product or process quality and reliability.

Experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience as QE in electronic manufacturing environment.
- Advanced English (Written & Spoken).
- Strong experience in corrective and preventive actions.
- Knowledge in Core Tools (AMFE, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP).
- Problem solving expert (8D, 5Why, Process mapping, ishikawa diagram).
- Expert in the use of statistics: SPC, 6 sigma, CP, CPK, Gage R&R, MSA, DOE (what they are for, when to use them and how to execute them).
- Expert in creation and design of P-FMEA and control plan.
- Knowledge of IPC-610, ISO9001, TUV, UL, CSA, etc.
