A Medical Virtual Assistant is a specialized virtual assistant who focuses specifically on providing remote administrative and technical support to healthcare professionals.
You are expected to be skilled in using practice management software systems to efficiently handle medical administrative tasks. Medical Virtual Assistants help healthcare professionals streamline their administrative workload, improve efficiency, and focus more on patient care, even when they are not physically present at the medical facility

**Responsibilities**:

- Collecting documents from clients like (police reports, hospital bills, etc.)
- Schedule patients appointments, conduct follow ups and confirm appointments.
- Get the client into treatment based on their reported injuries
- Review patient balances
- Contact doctors' offices to introduce our practice and obtain referrals
- Follow up with patient statements and bills
- Assist the medical biller in completing tasks, including writing appeal letters

**Requirements**:

- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills (oral and written).
- At least 2 years of experience in medical administration.
- Proficient in virtual office tools, and communication platforms
- Strong customer service and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient data confidentiality
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with mínimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willing to work in Pacific Time (PST) schedule (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM PST). This is during the graveyard shift in Manila Time
- With own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, core 5 above) with an internet connection of at least 10mbps.
