Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Security Supervisor located in Tijuana, Baja California.

Reporting to the Security Manager, the Security Supervisor role involves responsible for developing and implementing an effective strategy to assess and mitigate risks, maintain continuity of operations, and safeguard personnel, assets, product security of the organization from any hostile infringements of the Group’s interest.

What a typical day looks like:

- Advise the Site Manager of Tijuana operations and the Sr. Security Director of Mexico periodically of on-going risks and vulnerabilities and mitigating measures to safeguard Company operations in the city.
- Identify, develop, implement, and maintain security processes, practices, and policies at sites to eliminate risks, respond to incidents, and limit exposure and liability in all areas of information, financial, physical, personal, and reputation risk.
- Keep the GM informed of appropriate corporate security policies and general procedures authorized by the Sr. Security Director of Mexico operations
- Ensure that implementation of security operations is in strict compliance with national laws and applicable local regulations as well as requirements of supply chain security programs such as CTPAT and OEA
- Propose written guidelines to orient all personnel on basic security and safety measures and organize briefings and practice drills as appropriate.
- Coordinate the functions of the site-security supervisors’ (and team) to ensure outcomes meet security and safety objectives.
- Establish and maintain cooperative partnership networks with the main external interlocutors (law enforcement, customs, among others) to reduce risks to security and maintain continuity of operations as well as internal peers to reach out the objectives
- Provide timely risk assessments, reports of incidents, researched papers, briefs, and alerts as well as fulfill the security dashboard in compliance with KPI´s of Country security organization and site.

- Bachelor in related field or equivalent work experience
