Production Planner

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for timely supply of raw materials, materials and supplies, as well as and to develop and coordinate the production program following up on priorities.
Optimize inventory in order to achieve customer service goals,
Cost reduction and inventory reduction by the division.
Perform calculation and maintenance of data from existing Kanban loops and supply agreements that you have with some suppliers.
More specifically but not limited to, you will:
- Carry out periodic production schedules either monthly or weekly, as well as monitor and verify compliance.
- Calculate, maintain and manage consignment programs with different suppliers.
- Fill and manage the Heijunka board to meet the requirements in type and quantities of the client.
- Perform and manage Kanban for components, raw materials and machined to decrease DSI and improve deliveries to time (LISC).
- Manage, control and maintain an optimal level of Product finished, of components and raw materials based on PFEP.
- Monitor the flow of materials and provide feedback to Suppliers regarding delivery schedule fulfillment requested.
- Analyze and select suppliers; get quotes, terms Payment methods, Receipts of orders
- Review in the MRP the production requirements, both of the time and material
- Anticipate likely failures in delivery dates and take preventive actions
- Coordinate import and export activities
**We would like to hear from you if you have**:
Degree in Industrial or Mechnical Engineering.
Experience: 5 years in similar position
Experience in automotive or engineering manufacturing industries is a must.
Proficiency in English
