Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Supplier Quality Engineer located in Tijuana.
Reporting to the Supplier quality engineering manager role involves responsible for supplier development in a manufacturing or service process; works with suppliers to continuously improve performance, implement process controls, and develop quality assurance plans
What a typical day looks like:
- Understand customer drawing, specification to feedback value-added engineering proposal to customer and supplier for optimization of supplier manufacturing process or products
- Supplier Evaluation. - self assessment, on site audits, Supplier performance review
- Develop supplier improvement plans
- CAPA process
- corrective actions,
- SCAR verification
- RWK effectiveness verification
- Return material process (get RMA from vendors, etc.)
- internal audits
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Advances English
- Visa
- NPI Experience
- Electronical, mechanical, industrial bachelor’s degree
- Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration.
- Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills
- Demonstrates advanced/thorough knowledge of the function
- Typically requires skill and troubleshooting, and diagnostics, and overview of the entire test process
- Interacts regularly with executives, customers, and vendors.
