NATIONAL CHANNEL PARTNER DEVELOPER

Purpose:
The National Channel Partner Developer is responsible for maintaining all strategic functions related to the business relationship with the designated Key Channel Partners. Also responsible for increasing sales of Walter Products and services, executing appropriate sales and marketing strategies and improve company’s position in the assigned key accounts.

The Channel Partner Developer is expected to contribute to the commercial action plans regarding the Channel Partners strategy that assure the business practices and goals of Walter Mexico are being met.

Main Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development of relationships at all levels of Key Accounts.

Actively contribute to plans and programs that will increase effectiveness and will grow sales and market share consistent with Walter expectations in the Key Accounts.

Grow relationships with strategic contacts of Key Accounts.

Execute the appropriate Channel Partners programs with the assigned Key Accounts.

Liaison between Key Account company members, field sales and WMX resources.

Develop and recommend programs and practices, including discounts, related to Key Accounts development.

Implement training programs for Channel Partners Key Accounts in coordination with Walter Mexico Training Manager.

Maintain close working relationship with Walter Marketing organization. Actively assist in the development and support of Marketing product programs and activities.

Education and Experience:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills of a business and technical nature.

The ability to negotiate successfully.

The ability to give effective presentations in front of diverse audiences.

The ability to communicate and conduct business in English.

Possess computer skills and be able to use the Microsoft Office Products, CRM, and be an advocate for Walter Express and GPS

An understanding of manufacturing procedures, finances, and logistics

Must be a person of high integrity and conduct themselves in a professional manner

Experience in a manufacturing or distribution marketplace.

Experience in working independently from a home office or virtual office environment, and traveling a significant amount of time.

Must have excellent organizational skills and time management skills

Key Accounts Commercial experience, preferably in industrial products and services.

Demonstrated ability to work well with others and function in a team environment.

College degree.
