Description

Ensures customer satisfaction and sustainable improvement by correct use of the problem solving and Quality tools in the production process.
Defines and implement quality controls in the assigned production processes.
Management and update of process control documentation.
Identifies and determine usage of appropriate statistical tools in the production processes.
Measures and report the product critical characteristic capability (Cpk, PPk) and promotes the definition of improvement actions together with the cross functional team when required.
Provides pass/fail decisions on product and process not normal conditions.
Supports the implementation of the corrective actions defined on internal problem solving and 8D for customer claims.
Leads and coaches the problem solving teams as a tool expert.
Coordinate efforts with the Quality checkers/Auditors team

Follow up and improve quality to achieve KPI goals (Customer incidents, FPY, Jidoka, Scrap cost, etc).
Report and follow up issues with defective material / blocked material
Get involved in internal y external audits ( IATF16949)

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- Advanced level of English
- At least 3 - 5 years working in quality areas
- At least 3 years of experience in Process Quality
- Previous experience in machining areas (CNC) (will be a strong plus.)
- Process Flow Chart, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, 8D
- Statistical software - Minitab/other is required

*Automotive industry experience or related and familiarity *with IATF16949 & VDA standards
- MS Office programs and SAP
- Knowledge of VDA 6.3
- Team work spirit
