The Inbound Material Warehousing team provides value add by: Accepting incoming goods and controlling related shipping document (material number, description, quantity). Checking incoming goods for visible damage, documenting them and providing the information if required. Transport and store incoming goods in the warehouse, according to OBU plan. Capturing relevant data in data processing systems. Organizing a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area. A foreman at this level: Guides work group members, and ensures proper execution of assigned manual storage, pick & pack operations, or similar. Supervises activities, and decides immediate actions if necessary, while at the same time working as senior team member in the team.
