About the Role
- Manages all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Controller responsibilities will also include financial risk management.

What You Will Do
- Manages the financial aspects and establishes objectives and policies for the organization.
- Partner with plant management by providing financial guidance and recommendations to improve efficiencies and support business decisions
- Prepares financial reports the Company related to different areas such as income, costs, expenditure and profits base on budgets and financial projections
- Coordinates and authorizes the performance of reports for Government Agencies (Local, State and Federal)
- Performs and responsible for the Mexican Accounting System.
- Advises Management on desirable changes regarding Fiscal Law and provides advice on import and export regulations as well as on insurance coverage to protect the Company from potential losses and liability.
- Formulates and manages the Department’s objectives and budget, as well as the strategies and action plans to achieve those objectives.
- Supervise compliance of Sarbanes Oxley internal controls
- Coordinates and responsible for the Shipping Department, and coordinates with Government Agencies, as well as Mexican and U.S. Customs.
- Responsible for Selecting, Training, Motivating, Developing and acting as a facilitator to the Finance Staff.
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of subordinates to facilitate the implementation and operation of the Company.
- Supports the Management the product billing procedures.
- Develops improvement projects with the purpose of optimize the metrics of the Finance Department.
- Participate and provides support related with environmental, Health and Safety objectives, targets and programs.
- Has the authority to stop a process or activity, or give coaching if it detects unsafe or acts conditions, that could put at risk the safety and health of a worker and environment.

- Computer knowledge (Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, SAP, Data works.)
- Deep Knowledge of the Mexican Fiscal and Customs Laws.
- Knowledge and understands MRP functionality.
- Advance English level (reading and writing that allow fluid presentations)
- Formal Lean training in VSM Tools. Kaizen, Kanban and other key Lean tools and methodologies.
- Certified Public Accountant degree or related field. (C.P.A.)
- 5 years of prior experience in industrial product manufacturing environment.
- 5 years of prior experience as Finance Manager.
- 3 years of prior experience in budget management.
- 3 years of prior experience implementing Continuous Improvement and excellence Methods.
- 3 years of prior experience in Project Management.
- Must be focus on continuous improvement methods.
- Demands effort to analyze, diagnose, and plan.
- Take advance and important decisions that will have consequences for the Company.
