**About the Job**

**Job duties include**:

- Getting familiar with the Project, Engineering and Vendor specifications and requirements.
- Finalizing Site Quality organization and mobilization schedule in line with execution schedule.
- Finalizing/Reviewing Site Quality Plan, QCPs/ITPs and procedures and achieving client approvals.
- Early Liaising with Subcontractors for establishing Subcontractor’s Quality deliverables.

Site Quality activity is managed through:

- Implementation of project procedures issued by Sub-contractors.
- ITP/QCP and test procedures, QC coordination procedure, Construction Quality Dossier mgmt., etc.
- ITP/QCP and relevant forms and reports provided by Subcontractor in line with Project minimum standards in terms of inspection/testing activities and format contents.
- Finalizing Quality plans and procedures.
- Construction QCP to the Discipline Supervisors and to the Inspectors;
- Maintaining close contact with Client to solicit and study Client comments and opinions on QC implementation and to assist the personnel to assemble, coordinate and issue necessary

documentation required by governmental authorities, if any.

Supporting the discipline supervisors/inspectors in performing QC activities considering:

- Obtaining Client input, evaluation and agreement on specified procedures and results.
- Advising on QC procedures, methods and practices/actions.
- Providing adjustments, when necessary, to QCP and QCF.
- Analyzing and reporting of the QC results.
- Checking of the Construction Quality Control Report.
- Ensuring timely resolution of any QC problems encountered during construction.
- Ensuring the collection and filing of QCRs issued during the construction works and of any other document certifying the quality of the works in the Construction/Pre-commissioning Quality Dossier.
- Implementing of the "Non-Conformity Report Procedure" at site.
- Assuring the feedback to HO QC Function for all Quality related problems.
- Coordinating the activities of quality inspectors.
- Training the site personnel on QC System at site.
- Supporting the site QC inspector making him/her available mainly:

- General coordination input/management and commitment to operate on a defined working area/range of QC activity.
- Availability of appropriate operating tools necessary to inspect or to survey inspection and testing activity made by Subcontractor (e.g.: inspection coordination procedure, QCPs, QC procedures/method statement, codes/standards, local laws and regulation).
- Tasks

Quality Manager shall monitor the QC system at fabrication site, as follow:

- Implementation of Site Quality Plan, ITPs and Site QA/QC procedures.
- Ensure that Subcontractors establish inspection tracking system (Inspection Matrix) to assign required QC forms for each tag within each discipline, keeping the system updated at each certification.
- Ensure timely engineering data population of Easy Plant by Engineering disciplines.
- Ensure timely quality set-up of Easy Plant: (if Easy Plant will not be used for the whole scope any other computerize tool system shall be in place to keep a tracking record system).
- Upload of mapped QCF & Link of Sub-Work Class (and relevant ITR/QCR/QCF) to item tags
- Organize Kick-off meeting with Subcontractors and Client before starting new activity at site, reviewing pre-requisites, focusing on possible shortfalls and asking for mock-ups, if required.
- Inspect the work at jobsite with Subcontractor and Client representatives.
- Assure that Subcontractors issue required QC forms subsequently after completion of Inspection. Make sure that QC Records are signed off by all parties, as applicable,

according to ITP.
- An “Inspections Tracking System” (Easy Plant Database or equivalent) shall be established.
- Ensure timely and regular upload of signed ITR/QCR/QCF in Easy Plant to ensure proper reporting.
- Plan and execute Site Walkthrough for each discipline. Identify and monitor corrective actions.
- Survey the working areas (random inspection).
- Inspect the received material regarding handling and preservation.
- Coordinate with Site supervisors / Subcontractors to ensure that material preservation is effective as per requirements. Easy Plant Preservation Module is recommended to manage and track such activity.
