PURPOSE:
The HRBP will become a strategic partner for Advanta LAN, coordinating and supporting the administrative functions of the company by consulting the leadership team and Head of the company in strategic human capital planning, recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding. Perform all HR functions under the direction of the Regional Head in relation to people development, training, labor law compliance, culture, and employee relations.

SCOPE: Advanta LAN includes HC in Mexico, Colombia, Bolivia, Guatemala. Supporting all functions (Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D)

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Propose and interprets human resources policies, counseling managers and employees on questions concerning work policies and procedures.
- Perform HR-related activities such as onboarding/off-boarding, benefits, training, compliance, and employee relations.
- Coordinate all recruiting processes across LAN markets.
- Responsible for developing and updating Job Descriptions.
- Lead in partnership with line manager, individual development programs
- Partners with the Global / LATAM HR team to complete the annual performance review & merit planning process.
- Conduct and prepare material for employee orientations.
- Conducts research, analyzes data, and prepares recommendations on assigned projects.
- Responsible for updating HRIS and payroll systems,.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed & clear before the start date. Ensures that all employee paperwork is maintained properly.
- Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics and respond to routine questions such as benefits, payroll, vacation, Comp, Performance Management and professional development.
- Build strong business relationships with employees, managers, and key business stakeholders.
- Provide guidance, solutions, and training to employees & managers.
- Knowledge of employment law and regulatory guidelines related to human resources in LAN’s region.
- Actively participates, partners, or leads the planning of designated employee events/retention programs while staying within the approved budget with HR team members.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality due to exposure and availability of sensitive information.
- Coordination with R&D team, rural or temporary workers administration.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred.
- 5-15 years experience in Human Resources
- Must possess strong time management and organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and multi-task
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Must be client focused and take initiative to resolve problems.
- Ability to build partnerships with various teams both internally and externally.
- Proficient knowledge and experience using MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Strong verbal, written, and cross-culture communication skills, with an emphasis on interpersonal and group communication skills.
- Strong orientation to quality, continuous improvement, and customer service
- Leadership & management experience preferred.
- Adaptability to ambiguous scenarios
- Multi country / cultural understanding
