The IT Configuration Management (CMDB) Process Owner is responsible for the definition, rollout, adoption and maturation of a Global IT Configuration Management process and CMDB at Baxter. This includes defining the strategy and process, driving adoption, ensuring ongoing CMDB accuracy and completeness, and reviewing effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

The Global Information Technology Centers are focused on being a stronger business partner, aligned to deliver on the technology needs and maintaining global support and shared expertise to advance digital capabilities across the enterprise. Our IT function is made up of employees with varied backgrounds and knowledge. This diversity of skills and expertise allows us to bring creative and innovative solutions.

**What you'll be doing**
- Defines and executes the short-term and long-term roadmap for Configuration Management and the CMDB, including process definition, Discovery, Application Mapping, Service Modeling, and integrations
- Drives CMDB adoption and champions the process with global stakeholders
- Defines and implements required integrations with other systems (partnership with ITSM Tool development team)
- Defines governance structure and associated KPIs/reports to drive process adherence and CMDB accuracy/completeness
- Develops and executes process and tool training (webex, videos, FAQs, job aids, etc.)
- Partners with ITSM Process Owners to integrate the CMDB with other process areas such as Change, Incident, Request and Problem Management

**What you'll bring**
- At least 3 years in a similar role as Configuration Management / CMDB Process Owner
- At least 3 years of experience deploying a CMDB in ServiceNow
- At least 3 years of experience utilizing Discovery in ServiceNow Discovery Tool
- In-depth knowledge of other ITSM process areas, including Change Management, Incident Management, Request Management and Problem Management and the use of the CMDB within these processes.
- Experience working in a global setting is a big plus
- Project management / project leadership experience a plus
- Structured, innovative, take-charge individual that is a self-starter requiring little supervision
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills at all levels in the organization (from individual contributor to executive level)
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with benefits, risks and challenges) while providing thought leadership to stakeholders.
