We are searching for the best talent for STAFF R&D NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER to be in Salvarcar.
JOB SUMMARY
Work on most assignments with instructions about the expected overall result. You may receive technical guidance for the most unusual or complex problems, but independently determine and develop approaches to solutions. It works on problems with various scopes in which the analysis of information requires the evaluation of identifiable factors. It exercises its judgment within generally defined practices and policies by selecting the methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Erroneous decisions or recommendations and failures usually result in serious delays in programs/projects and considerable expenditure of resources. It assists in the development of new products and processes and provides technical support for the transfer to the cd. juárez manufacturing plant and during the start of regular production.

If CSS Position: This position will have responsibilities across the companies ETHICON and Cardiovascular and Specialty Solution (CSS) Johnson and Johnson Family of Companies) including a range of multiple product platforms such as General Surgical Devices, Sutures, ENT, Infection Prevention, Electrophysiology and Surgical and Non-Surgical Aesthetics.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Johnson & Johnson's procedures and guidelines, this position:

- Applies an intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments or related fields.
- He makes independent decisions about engineering problems and methods, and represents the organization at conferences to resolve important questions and for the planning and coordination of work.
- It requires the use of advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts and practices of its field and related sciences and disciplines.
- Supervision and guidance related to requirements, critical situations, new concepts and policy issues.
- Consult with the supervisor regarding unusual problems and developments.
- Responsible for one or more of the following points:
1. In his capacity as a supervisor, he plans, develops, coordinates and directs a major large engineering project or a small number of projects with many complex features.

2. Their work is expected to result in the development of new or improved techniques or procedures.

3. Their work is expected to result in the development of new or refined equipment, materials, processes, products and/or methods.

4. As a staff specialist, you develop and evaluate plans and criteria for a variety of projects and activities that will be carried out by others.

5. Evaluates the feasibility and robustness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products or equipment when the necessary information is insufficient or confirmation by means of tests is recommended.
- It serves as a staff consultant in a technical specialty, an installation or equipment time, or the function of a program.
- You can technically supervise, coordinate and review the work of a small team of engineers and technical staff, estimate the necessary manpower and scheduling and assign the work to meet the completion date, or, as an individual researcher or specialist staff, you can be assisted in projects by other engineers or technicians.
- Practices the company's safety and quality policies and procedures. It actively requires compliance.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with Federal, State and local health, safety and environmental regulations, policies and procedures.
- It is responsible for the purchase or design of equipment that meets the health, safety and environmental standards set by the company.
- He is responsible for conducting design reviews and pre-validation evaluations to ensure the solid and safe start of a new process.
- Responsible for communicating business-related situations or opportunities to the next managerial level.
- Responsible for ensuring that subordinates comply with all company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environment practices and that all necessary resources are available and in good condition.
- Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all federal, state and local regulations, policies and procedures.
- Perform other activities when necessary.
