As Industrial Lawyer, reporting to the Senior Legal Manager of MexEc Region, you'll be responsible of the legal strategy implementation and guarantee the fulfillment of labor law and all regulation of Mexico target to **industrial sites**. Reinforcing the cross functional communication that improve the presence of the legal department as a Business Partner to create a preventive and innovative culture in line with Horizon Group Strategy and Risk Assessment.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Implement, monitor and deal with the legal matters related to the new labor Law, in order to have a high level of control of contracts, operations and outsourcing in industrial sites of Mexico
- Work with the controlling/finance area to create and implement local policies to rise in a legal perspective an Internal Control Culture
- Reinforce the compliance of the license and governmental permit of the region
- Offer proactive and reactive guidance on a variety of legal areas, including commercial, procurement, corporate, manufacturing activities, permits and licenses.
- Receive and attend external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust.
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
- Control the Coordinate and manage specialist outside counsels on specific projects, issues, or litigation
- Guarantee the implementation of the polices and regulation target to industrial sites of BIC in Mexico
- Giving training and guidance to the business on the applicable legal and compliance rules
- Draft, review, negotiate and assist the plants with the agreements with suppliers, service providers, machinery purchase and all contracts needed.

- Contribute to the change of mindset of the legal support - being more strategi, acting in prevetion and proactive
- Bring innovation and processes improvement with limited resources
- Organizational skills in order to implement processes
- Guarantee that the new labor law is fully implemented, and keep its fulfillment by engaging an orienting all the areas.
- Delivering a legal recommendation to the business that considers the risk appetite of the organization and attends its needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum qualification required:

- Lawyer Degree and admitted to practice in Mexico.
- Language: Fluent Spanish and English.
- Lawyer experience in Plants.
- Knowledge / experience required beyond minimum qualification:

- Minimum experience of 2 years.
- Dealing with contacts, drafting, negotiating and revising
- Conducing matters of contracts, labor law, regulatory, tax.
- Desirable experience in multinational companies
- Experience with international reports
- Ability to draft, implement, train and advice on compliance matters, policies and local requirements.
- Good analytical skills, and decision-making ability
- Strong integrity and business ethics
- A collaborative attitude, building strong relationships with all stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility as well as the ability to work effectively in global cross-cultural and cross-functional teams
