Commercial Experience is a strategic asset within UniOps. They are an intrinsic and integral part of financial and management reporting, treasury, controls, supplier operations and finance expertise from invoicing to payment processing, budgeting, and cost optimization - an accelerator that fuels growth for Unilever.

Commercial Experience drives significant organization change including the roll out of new digital capabilities such as Concur, Coupa, Blackline, Tail Spend Management and the establishment of new and value-added operations, including Treasury MO/BO, P&H Controllership, ZBB Program and Global Finance Excellence Team (FET) Overheads. Some of these operational lines are delivered through a 3-tier model, including the Operating Center, which oversees the third-party strategic partners and partners with the Markets organization.

Within this context, it requires balancing sometime contradicting priorities around cost, experience, discipline, and compliance become critical and need very capable leaders at the helm who can steer and balance both challenge and support to the Markets organization.

**LOCATION**: Tultitlán, México

**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:
Uniops Commercial experience is responsible for providing up to date, and relevant financial information to its customers through various channels to provide relevant, accurate and timely reports on accounting processes, and accounting information to deliver the reporting of the Group accounts; and the provision of relevant performance metrics to assist the R2R Service Delivery Manager in its development and delivery of excellent services to its customers.

**YEARS OF EXPERIENCE NEEDED IN SIMILAR ROLES**:
Preferred to have 2-5 years of overall finance experience in Business Partnering, Accounting, and reporting roles.

**MAIN RESPONSABILITIES**:

- Ensure effective management of all input to financial systems and the control, verification, and processing of all financial transactions - either on his/her own or the external service provider and that financial reports meet the needs of the customers providing information in a user friendly and appropriate manner for the purposes required.
- Take responsibility for the end-to-end financial accounting process for the countries serviced.
- To ensure the integrity of financial systems and the financial operating model, in accordance with financial procedures, external audit requirements and best accounting practice.
- Implements and ensures standardization and best practice from other jurisdictions to maximize efficiency and load balance.
- Ensures accounting rules are properly applied for both management and financial accounts in compliance with corporate standards.
- Identifies key issues and delivers efficient responses through implementation of the right procedures.
- Lease accounting on IFRS 16 - engaging with stakeholders, users etc to prepare and present reconciliations. Responsible for hygiene of reconciliation and monitoring open actions along with ensuring control compliance.
- Acts as internal consultant to satisfy stakeholder expectations. Maintain formal relationship with the shared services provider.
- Consistently work to identify opportunities and implement continuous improvement to achieve harmonisation and standardisation.
- Engagement with key stakeholders across functions and take lead in period end activities and reporting.
- To ensure the effective month end close and overview all service provider activities to have accuracy and timeliness in month end close.
- Trial Balance Review with qualitative check
- Monthly Intercompany reconciliation process and Overdue follow up.
- Monthly Bank reconciliation review and ensuring no open items in bank.
- Preparation and presentation of cash flow, in depth analysis for any significant movement
- Analyze variances and root cause analysis for any discrepancy found.
- To represent operating center in all future finance projects
