- The Guard Force Commander (GFC) _**shall have completed a secondary education, high school, or National Diploma**_. _
- _**minimum of 10 years’ experience in the military, police or guard force**_ _with proven _**experience in leadership **_roles is required. _
- _**five years’ work experience in the host country.**_
- _**Advanced security training and experience **_with _**risk management**_ _including problem identification and _**problem solving **_required._

The GFC shall have the following qualifications and to perform supervisory duties that include:

- Be a _**citizen of the host country,**_ _or a third country national in possession of a _**valid current work visa**_
- Must speak _**Spanish**_
- Possess _**English speaking/reading skill level S3/R3**_
- _**Supervising the guard force that provides protection to all U.S. mission facilities**_
- Preparing guard orders, deployment of guards and weekly scheduling_
- Conducting regular inspections of guards and guard posts_
- Investigating irregularities, maintain inventory reports;-Preparing reports and making recommendations regarding discipline and termination actions_
- Overseeing the refresher training program to ensure compliance and effectiveness_
- Overseeing guard program logistics including, e.g., explosive detection and x-ray equipment_
- Acting as a point of contact on operational guard force matters_
- Ensure all guards are properly uniformed, equipped and staffed _
- Plan, coordinate and lead during integrated training and emergency response drills with the Marine Security Guard Detachment_
- _Hold a current host-country _**driver’s license**_
- Oversight of and responsible for quality control and contract compliance_

**Salary**: $38,000.00 - $41,000.00 per month
