This is an opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual who is fluent in both English and Spanish. As Operations Manager, your main responsibility will be the growth and development of Agronegocios Chabac's citrus and cattle operations. You will oversee the efficient operations of a team of 25 employees across 2 ranches with a combined property size of over 1100 hectares, 30,000 lime trees and 300 head of cattle.

Experience in agriculture is required and knowledge of Izamal and surrounding area will be an important asset.

**What You Will Do**
- Report to management on a weekly basis regarding the operations of the ranches, the productivity of the team, and the health and productivity of the citrus trees and cattle.
- Contact citrus buyers, agrochemical supplies, construction contractors and irrigation specialists. You will be given the authority to conduct business on behalf of the company.
- Monitor citrus production on a daily basis. You will know what quantity of citrus is ready to harvest, the quality of the citrus, and be aware of any threats to production.
- You will work closely with experienced vaqueros who have worked with cattle for over 15 years. You will ensure that the company is providing them with everything they need.
- Oversight over all inventory, vehicles, tools, chemicals, and machines.
- Translating This job will involve a great deal of translating between the English speaking owners and the Spanish speaking workers, buyers, and suppliers. As such, proficient English and Spanish is absolutely required; both speaking and writing.

**Your History**:

- Minimum High School education
- Experience working in agriculture in Mexico, and more preferably, Yucatan.
- You have at least 1 year of experience in a leadership role.
- You have verifiable references regarding your agricultural experience.
- You have a valid driver's license and no criminal record.
- You have demonstrated experience contributing to business tactics and strategies with a thorough knowledge and understanding of diverse operational needs.
- You have experience in operations, analysis, planning and process improvement.
