Sales and Maintenance Engineer

_DJ Products_ manufactures electric powered warehouse tugs, semi-trailer movers, small aircraft tugs, and dumpster moving equipment. At DJ Products, we specialize in finding electric-powered and motorized cart tug solutions to solve problems.

Our Cart and Trailer Tug solutions eliminate the strains and injury from manually pushing or pulling heavy carts, equipment, or materials.

The Sales and Maintenance Engineer position requirements are;
Bachelor degree on Engineering (mechanical, industrial or similar)
Proficient in English language speaking and written
Capable to communicate in a technical and business level in Spanish and English
Customer service oriented
Experience in technical sales, must have a background from a mechanical, power lift, industrial tractors, utility vehicle or the forklift industry
Problem solving mindset
Excel proficiency, mechanical CAD drawing interpretation and assessment
To be able to work in a dynamic work environment with opportunities for travel and on-site problem-solving
Go Getter attitude, must be willing to hunt for new sales prospects, to do call calling and on site visits if required.
Serviceable attitude and get the job done
Capable to perform at the highest work expectation levels with proving sales track record and service fulfillment traceability.
Be able to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously and follow through until closure.
Capable to work with limited management supervision. Task driven and results oriented.

This position is based in Zapopan Jalisco Mexico. The working hours would be hybrid depending on the field activities, administrative and sales work load. This is not a desk job, you will be required to perform equipment repairs at customer sites and be able to interpret and resolve technical issues remotely communicating with engineers from the US through phone call or zoom. You will also be required to follow up on customer leads through CRM and provide quotes.

This position has a fixed salary plus monthly sales commissions. Basic employment compensations including social security.

Valid drivers license is required

Valid US visa and passport is required for international travel for training.

You will be required to provide employment references, drug test and no criminal background check.

This position demands a 3 month period hire based on positive results the hiring position will be permanent.
