As part of the Koch Global Solutions (KGS), KSSM - Koch Shared Services Mexico - is the shared services hub which covers LATAM region. One of the many capabilities at KSSM is Payroll, which currently provides services to 5 different Koch companies in Mexico and is in process of building out the capability to support additional businesses within the region for future expansions. This role will be critical to aligning technology and forming relationships withing the region to help accomplish this expansion to service all other Koch companies both in Mexico and in Brazil.
The Payroll Manager role offers the opportunity to partner with leaders across the organization and collaborate directly with the family of Koch companies and engage with a wide range of business capabilities. The Payroll Manager will operate with a growth mindset to implement new processes and controls. He/She will also be able to collaborate, build effective relationships, and have the ability to work with competing priorities. This position has to be physically located in the city of Guadalajara - Jalisco.
**What You Will Do In Your Role**
- Effectively lead and oversee the work of Payroll team across Koch Companies in Mexico.
- Ownership and oversight for end-to-end payroll processing of approximately 7,000 employees within Mexico. This includes accurate and timely weekly, bi-weekly processing, transaction entry, upload of time, payroll balancing, QA/resolution of issues, and technical error resolution.
- Provide strong leadership with excellent interpersonal, team building, communication & influencing skills to drive positive outcomes and business value.
- Plan, lead, and track run/maintain and project work to ensure scope, timelines, and resources are managed optimally.
- Identify and drive transformation and automation initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence and value creation.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal guidelines.
- Partner with internal global transactional teams, Human Resources and other support capabilities (HR service center, Finance, HR Compliance) to ensure the delivery of optimal services and products both internally and externally.
- Vendor relationship management with 3rd Party payroll provider
**The Experience You Will Bring**
**Requirements**:
- Experience leading a Payroll, Tax, Accounting, or Finance team
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Experience managing multiple vendors.
- Previous leadership experience and someone who has experience building a team
- Knowledge of pay calculations, taxes, and benefits.
- Experience handling extremely sensitive and confidential matters, documents and/or data.
- Knowledge of IMSS, Infonavit, ISR
- Experience collaborating and working on a team with a high level of accountability for self and others
- Experience communicating with various leaders across an organization

- Experience with SAP, ADP, Ceridian Dayforce, Infor, Eslabon, or Payworks.
