**Requirements**:

- Creo 7.0, Windchill, Oracle, Aurora experience.
- Advanced knowledge on CAD Design tools, design principles, manufacturing methods.
- Geen/Black Belt (desired)

Activities:

- Department improvements and problem-solving activities on new and existing products of the assigned product platforms.
- Leads design engineering projects as an integral part of the development and manufacturing teams for NPD and on-going engineering support to address customer satisfaction.
- To evaluate existing product related to design, manufacturing, customer complaints, quality deficiencies and performance issues and develop creative solutions.
- To improve current designs by reducing cost, improving producibility, quality, testability, increasing robustness and improving reliability.
- Lead and participate in new product development and Product transfers activities.
- Lead Product Engineering Changes, qualifying and implementing changes.
- Generate product portfolio and identify opportunities for cost reduction and manufacturing standardization and engage Quality and Process Engineering to implement.
- Applies statistical methods for data collection, analysis and problem solving.
- Coordinate assessments over materials properties and behavior for manufacturing processes.
- Participate in the development of procedures and tool improvements for engineering department.
