Purchasing Analyst

SIIX CORP. is a company, dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of electronic parts. We have established bases in approximately 50 locations in 14 countries worldwide that can assist in the global business development of our customers, from materials procurement to manufacturing and distribution.

Position Goal:
This position has overall responsibility for sourcing direct material commodity-specific parts and/or services to support business needs for SIIX. This position is responsible for developing and executing a purchasing strategy that ensures that these commodity items are purchased at the best total cost, while meeting quality and delivery performance requirements.

Minimum required experience:
3 years in purchasing area.

**Responsibility**:

- Be an expert on electronic components supply chain, familiar with the potential worldwide supply base of these suppliers and know the strengths and weaknesses of major ones.
- Develop and issue request for quotations (RFQ's) to potential suppliers of these commodities.
- Analyze supplier quotations, and propose or make selection of supplier of product
- Assume leadership role in cost reduction activities from beginning of product design stage, through production life of the product purchased.
- Assess, with the support of the concerned departments, his/her supplier base and propose a long-term strategy to develop and improve his/her supplier base according to the company's long term needs and the market situation.

Profile Requirements

**Personal Background**
- Associate´s or Bachelor degree in process at Engineering (industrial, electronic, or other), business (administration, foreign and traffic, supply chain or other)

**Job Technical skills**
- Electronic components supply chain understanding
- MRP
- Create RFQ with Cost Break Down
- Advanced Excel
- Negotiation Skills
- Analysis and problem solving
