**LAM/MX Regulatory Engagement/ Development Manager**

**Propósito del Puesto**:
El LAM/MX Regulatory Engagement/ Development Manager debe asistir al Director y Subdirector de RAP, en mantener una comunicación efectiva con los reguladores, con la finalidad de evitar contratiempos o confusiones en la relación con los reguladores.

Esta posición debe brindar apoyo para una buena administración del riesgo, contemplando varias responsabilidades, que se indican a continuación de manera enunciativa, más no limitativa:

- **Regulatory Engagement**: Apoyar a los colegas de HSBC, en particular al Director y Subdirector de RAP en a la gestión y la supervisión de la relación con los reguladores a nível local.

**Regulatory Engagement**
- Actuar como Subject Matter Expert (SME) en relación con Regulatory Engagement, asegurando que HSBC México mantenga una adecuada relación con los reguladores más importantes a nível local; incluyendo juntas con los reguladores, visitas de inspección, revisiones, participación en grupos técnicos y temáticos, investigaciones, observaciones y medidas correctivas, reportes, requerimientos de información, correspondencia y otras actividades.
- Colaborar en el manejo de las relaciones y compromisos con los reguladores financieros tales como Banxico, SHCP, CNBV, CNSF, CONDUSEF, IPAB y otros, en los asuntos relacionados con la función de Regulatory Compliance (RC). Así como, involucrarse activamente en el cumplimiento de los asuntos relacionados con los reguladores.
- Asegurar que las agendas y los requerimientos de los reguladores sean entendidos, comunicados y cumplidos en tiempo y forma, con la intención de que no haya contratiempos en los compromisos que el banco contrae con las autoridades correspondientes.
- Trabajar en conjunto con los colegas de RC, las líneas de negocio, las funciones globales y HOST.
- Dar seguimiento y monitorear los compromisos con los reguladores, proporcionar actualizaciones, reportes, así como orientación según proceda y sea necesario.
- Mantener y actualizar las políticas delegadas por RAP a nível Global conforme sea necesario.
- Proporcionar apoyo al Director y al Subdirector de RAP en la orientación a nível local, a las líneas de negocio y a las funciones en relación con los compromisos y desarrollos regulatorios que impacten a la institución.
- Dar seguimiento a las políticas delegadas por RAP a nível Global.

**Eficiencia Operativa y Control**:

- Observar los procesos, a fin de mantener la alta calidad del trabajo dentro del área.
- Asegurar el cumplimiento de las reglas, regulaciones y procedimientos internos y externos.
- Contribuir y observar en el desarrollo, implementación y mejora continua de los procesos, estructuras, capacidades de gestión, capacidad e infraestructura para cumplir con los planes y metas, colaborando con los colegas para maximizar la integración, la efectividad y la eficiencia.
- Mantener informados oportunamente al Director y Subdirector de RAP, sobre aquello que sea útil para la toma de decisiones a todos los níveles.

**Contexto del Puesto**:
El rol debe ser llevado al cabo con respeto, sanas prácticas, abiertas y sólidas con los reguladores financieros y por profesionistas que cuenten con conocimiento técnico y habilidades gerenciales.

Debe construir relaciones de equipo basados en el respeto y la cordialidad para fomentar un buen ambiente de trabajo.

Identificar las áreas preocupantes, escalar los temas al Director y al Subdirector y contribuir con soluciones prácticas, innovadoras y que agreguen valor.

Debe ser una persona comprometida con su trabajo, tener credibilidad y habilidades para conducirse con diplomacia y ser efectivo en situaciones sensibles.

Debe mostrar firmeza y correcto manejo de situaciones potencialmente difíciles controlando el estrés y la presión. Debe tener la habilidad de evaluar rápidamente la información a través del análisis y conocimiento de la estructura de los negocios y funciones.

Debe operar en un ambiente de constante presión y cambios debidos a condiciones internas y regulatorias internas y externas con altas expectativas de colegas de RC en Grupo, en particular los países que conforman la región, para poder reportarlo al Subdirector de RAP con el objetivo de cumplir con procesos de alta calidad en tiempo con información precisa y completa.
