**Purpose**

This position performs maintenance work requests, planned maintenance activities and solves equipment breakdowns, not handled by the equipment operators. Provides support for changes to existing equipment or the introduction of new equipment. Carries out a pre-planned Preventive Maintenance program on plant, building and facility assets and key equipment. Executes the tasks defined in the Maintenance Department to ensure that there is mínimal downtime, either through planned preventive maintenance or through the effective use of resources so that unscheduled breakdowns have mínimal disruption to operations.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Maintains a system to carry out planned preventive and predictive maintenance on plant, building and facility equipment, including diagnostic tools, tests and assessments
- Identify and maintain a Maintenance stores system for all key machine/equipment spares and consumables
- Operates plant equipment that provides energy and supplies to production lines, such as air compressors, lighting panels, Reverse Osmosis plant, water supply equipment, purified water equipment, wastewater treatment plant, oil filtration equipment, plant ventilation systems, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and fire prevention systems.
- Performs electrical and mechanical installations in buildings such as compressed air, water or sanitary pipes, electrical installation.
- Maintains facility assets and perform tasks including troubleshooting on utilities such as natural gas, water supply, drinking water, reverse osmosis and wastewater, compressed air, facility ventilation system. Maintains and repair kitchen equipment. Performs periodic inspections in fire protection systems and emergency systems.

**Bachelor´s Degree**:
Technician or Bachelor Degree
