Metrology Engineer

**Description**

Our Molex division is seeking a **Metrology **Engineer for** the Guadalajara Sur, Mexico Location.

Molex LLC is a manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and fiber optic connectivity systems. Molex offers over 100,000 products across a variety of industries, including data communications, medical, industrial, automotive and consumer electronics.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work with and maintain state of the art systems including CMM’s, Optical Inspection Equipment, and CT Scanning to support our internal and external customers with dimensional reports and part to model comparisons to aid in dimensional disposition conducted by the Quality Engineering team

**What You Will Do In Your Role**:

- Inspection reports and measurement of parts per customer requirements
- Perform metrology inspections via CT scanning, CMM programming, or Optical inspections as assigned
- Convert scan data to applicable format for dimensional analysis
- Evaluate drawings to determine the best method to measure a part as well as work with and provide feedback to engineering
- Support AQP and QE during Disposition Phase activities as defined in the PDP Product Development Procedure

**The Experience You Will Bring**:

- 3+ years of experience in Metrology Lab
- Knowledge with CAD/CAE/CAM files
- Experience in dimensional inspection
- CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS, CALYPSO
- Bachelor's degree
