**About the Role**

Olly Olly’s Web Administrator is responsible for creating and analyzing reports on team workload and productivity as well as recommending upgrades to the network, server, and related equipment, software, and any other relevant improvements to our processes. They will train new team members in best practices, support the team during times of influx and guide them through troubleshooting any bugs found in the system.
This role communicates new ideas and insights directly to the leadership team, as we are constantly improving and evolving our designs as well as our technical capabilities to stay ahead of our competition and provide a high-quality web presence for thousands of clients. They should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage in a team environment.

- Ensure high quality of deliverables in the Web Administration team, by implementing new solutions and approaches to bottlenecks and pain points
- Manage the Web Admin team’s workflow by assessing incoming requests and assigning them to the team based on competing priorities and urgency
- Spearhead continuous improvement efforts, including upskilling and professional development of current staff on web administration best practices and most current tools
- Lead the Web Administration team in updating DNS settings, server management, plugin implementation, troubleshooting bugs, etc.
- Diagnose and resolve root causes of site service interruption
- Manage user identities, credentials and privileges on local servers
- Conduct constant research on new technologies in order to improve processes and solve internal & external client needs.
- Assist the team with duties and projects as assigned
**We're excited about you because you bring**
- 4+ years of experience working with servers and related equipment
- 4+ years using web performance and debugging tools
- 4+ years of working knowledge of WordPress
- Strong knowledge on WordPress, installation, administration, troubleshooting and optimization.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and PhpMyadmin.
- Understanding of Wordpress Files structure and Database table distribution
- Understanding of the basis of DNS Zones
- Demonstrable experience in UI/UX best practices
- Working experience with QA and testing best practices and tools
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as GCP
- A Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent (not a requirement)
- Professional English skills (you will need to communicate effectively with team members in different time zones)
- Working Knowledge of:
- CSS
- JavaScript
- HTML5
- Linux terminal
- SFTP
