**Responsibilities**

**Required Experience**
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a manager of an Agile software development team
- 4+ years of experience leading teams in the development of highly scalable, cloud-based solutions
- 4+ years of experience leading teams in a DevOps environment, responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, and operating their solution
- Proven track record of developing engineering talent, growing careers, and teams.
- Expert knowledge of work item management tools like Jira, etc.
- Working knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, including an understanding of microservices and associated technologies.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix.
- Working knowledge of build automation, continuous integration, or continuous deployment tools such as Git, Jenkins, Maven, Grunt, RunDeck, Ansible, etc.
- Solid understanding of databases, storage, and distributed persistence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to all audiences.
- Experience with working flexible hours and working with team members in a global setting with distributed time zones.

**Desired Experience and Skills**
- Scrum or Agile certified
- 3+ years of experience in public cloud computing
- Working experience with Scaled Agile Framework or related certification
- Working experience with Java and JavaScript
- Working experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
- Previous experience in physical data center infrastructure and operations is a plus
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems.
