The Business Analytics Int Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the sub function/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Gathers operational data from various cross functional stakeholders to examine past business performance.
- Identifies data patterns & trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment etc.
- Recommends actions for future developments & strategic business opportunities, as well as enhancements to operational policies.
- May be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis and/or qualitative analysis.
- Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders all findings
- Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities
- Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies

**Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years relevant experience
- Advanced process management skills, organized and detail oriented
- Curious about learning and developing new skillsets
- Positive outlook with a can-do mindset

**Education**:

- Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

**Function Overview**:
Use Cases is a cross-sectional area within Data and Analytics dedicated to high impact projects that are a priority for the business. Based on cross-functional teams (with Product, Segment, Risk, Behavioral Economics, etc.) we analyze, design and implement new strategies through an Agile methodology, characterized by flexible self-organized teams, with constant delivery of results

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work together with other areas of the Bank (Product, Segment, Risk, Behavioral Economics, etc.) in order to design and implement new strategies within GCB.
- Identify high impact opportunities and propose strategies that will translate into portfolio growth and incremental revenues, through statistical techniques and models.
- Structure, do and validate analysis from various sources/categories (demographic, financial, Credit Bureau, transactional, social media, etc.).
- Development of analytical tools, which will help us to have a better understanding of our customers and the market.
- Valuation and tracking of key initiatives.
- Create synergies with D&A CoEs (Centers of Expertise - Testing, Modeling, Pricing), in order to develop high impact use cases / projects.
- Summarize key findings and present to top management.

**Requirements/Qualifications**:
- Bachelor in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics or related.-
- At least 2 years of professional experience (data & analytics, risk or related).-
- English level: Advanced***

**Skills/Competencies**:
- Strong analytical skills- Ability to translate numbers into actionable strategies
- Skills and interest in programming and statistical analysis (experience with SAS, SQL, R and/or Python)
- Experience in predictive modeling and machine learning - desirable
- Self-organized, collaborative, proactive and creative
- Negotiation, leadership and communication (storytelling and data visualization) skills are highly valued
- Project management; Agile and Scrum knowledge - desirable
- Advanced skills in Excel and Power Point
- Knowledge of consumer banking products - desirable
- Interpersonal skills; ability to create synergies with other teams
