**Essential Functions**
- Ensure the necessary continuous improvement competencies for the staff to perform their jobs.
- Facilitate and implement improvement systems for staff engagement.
- Build skills in the use of Lean techniques and tools within the value chain.
- Manage the value chain continuous improvement process.
- Administer, manage and lead lean projects.
**Essential Qualifications**
- B.S Degree Engineering or related.
- Master´s Degree or Equivalent Level desirable.
- English proficiency.
- Visa and Passport desirable.
- 5 years minimum on Automotive industry on lean manufacturing or manufacturing areas.
**Essential Experience**
- Have been involved in the implementation of lean facilitators (Value Stream Mapping, kaizen, SMED, BPI's, 5S's, etc.), in the integration of self-directed or high performance work teams.
- Have lead and/or implemented savings projects.
**Essential Competencies**
- Ability to lead change through others.
- Ability to take teams from the storming stage to high performance by defining and implementing team improvement strategies.
- Use of competency-based workforce development management.
- Knowledge of OHSAS.
- Management of Health and Safety legislation (country, sector and benchmark).
- Handling of risk analysis, Think Safe and Safe Start.
- Knowledge of management through collaborative systems.
- Use of work climate diagnostic systems.
- Application of staff engagement models.
- Knowledge of recognition systems for operational and service personnel.
- Application of the philosophy and tools of the Lean Enterprise Model.
- Management of personnel development and training procedures.
- Knowledge and skills for value chain management.
- Training event facilitation skills.
- Knowledge of Management Systems.
- Proficiency in continuous improvement processes and problem-solving methodology.
- Application of Core Tools.
- Application of business process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in the design and development of work systems.
