We are looking for** Database Administrator**:
**Main responsibilities**:

- Manage, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with the architectural team to implement and adhere to best practices, standards, and guidelines for database design, development, and optimization.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries for improved responsiveness and efficiency.
- Design and implement database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance on database-related issues and performance optimizations.
- Work with the DevOps team to integrate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) solutions into database deployments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure the database environment is properly configured and optimized for performance.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving database-related incidents, ensuring mínimal downtime and data loss.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Monitor and manage database capacity, growth, and resource utilization to ensure scalability.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server database administration.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization.
- Experience with version control, preferably using Bitbucket.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Familiarity with performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
- Knowledge of database backup and recovery mechanisms.
- Experience with implementing security measures and access controls.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional Agile development environment.
- Experience with database performance monitoring and tuning tools.
- Ability to work with architectural teams to adhere to coding and database standards.
- Inglés intermediate-advanced (B2)
- **Hybrid position in Monterrey**
