We are assembling an elite software development team with the expertise and passion for solving challenging unique problems in distributed multi-tenant architecture. You will use your knowledge and creativity to design and build innovative new systems from the ground up. These are exciting times in our space - we are growing fast, still at an early stage, and working on ambitious new initiatives. An engineer at any level can have significant technical and business impact across the entire platform and company while working alongside some of the first developers of cloud services.

As a Senior Software Engineer you will play a key role in building the data pipelines and data models in a collaborative environment. You will be writing exceptional code and tests, mentor others on your team and establish high quality standards, drive design and architecture of your service, and play a key role in planning, execution and operational readiness. As a senior engineer, we expect you to raise the bar for the entire engineering team - whether through best engineering practices, operational excellence, development process or shared code contributions.

Career Level - IC3

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help our development efforts as we build the technology platform that will act as the central data platform. You will be a core contributor on a team of software engineers working to grow and scale our service.

**Basic Qualifications**
- 3 - 5 years distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment
- Development experience in a modern programming language, such as Java, C++, C#
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and operating public cloud service control planes
- Deep understanding of object-oriented design specifically within a cloud environment
- Experience working closely with architects, principals, and product and program managers to deliver product features on time and with high quality.
- Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies.
- Demonstrable technical leadership and mentorship skills

**Preferred Qualifications**
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience driving security reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers from inception through launch
- Experience and understanding of multi-AD/AZ and regional data centers
- Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules
