**Objective**:
- Directs and coordinates the development and implementation of the activities of the production area, aiming to reach the targets set, the expected quality and cost objectives. Responsible of prioritize production schedules based on the master production plan considering equipment efficiency and raw materials. Plans and administers procedures and budget. This job is responsible for directing all operational staff ensuring production assembly and testing of products according to the standards and objectives.**Functions**:
- Establishes and promotes manufacturing systems.
- Define the goals and objectives and strategies for compliance.
- Meets with managers and directors on a weekly basis to review performance metrics of production.
- Directs the efforts of a group of people (Production Managers) providing the support necessary to achieve production goals and establishing priorities.
- Follow up of project activities.
- Support and Coaching for Managers.
- Coordinates management level interrelationships between departments (quality-engineering-materials).
- Review and seeks to improve key indicators of the organization.
- Verification of compliance with the Production Plan.
- Budgeting for capital goods (equipment purchases, equipment upgrades, accessories, projects.
- Evaluate the performance of their staff.
- Planning resource requirements needed to meet the production plan of the quarter.
- Ensuring the customer focus will be part of the organization culture.
**Requirements**:
- Education: Electronic Eng, Industrial Eng, Computer Eng.
- Languages: English 90%
- **Experience**:
- Internal Experience: As Production Manager, Production Supervisor, Maintenance or Engineering Group Leader or other monitoring activity as subordinate employees taking undergraduate preferably indirect. (6 years of experience).
- External Experience: Being in a position of at least 2 years in managerial position, preferably in the high-volume electronic parts.
- Technical Competences:
- Identification of areas for improvement - an opportunity and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of best manufacturing practices (Lean Manufacturing, TOC, JIT)
- Ability to solve problems in a structured manner (statistical tools)
- Budget and Resource Management
- Development methodologies and project management (Six Sigma Black Belt at level or Champion).
